Take three musicians from the world. One from Uruguay, another from the Netherlands and one from Aruba. These guys make music with the power to create the synergy between their cultures and backgrounds. This means Fever! Jam Fever at work on this album. Up-tempo tracks with some real cool compositions. The cool tranquility has another meaning in this trio-setting. It's calm but with an undertone, for the good listeners, where you can expect an eruption. This jazz from three different parts of the world is the strength of this album. There's Fever!

Leonardo Amuedo

Leonardo Amuedo was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1967. He learned his first chords when he was 4 years old with his brother. By the age of 17 he was already playing with several important and known musicians in South America like Julio Frade, Osvaldo Fattoruso and Ruben Rada. He moved to The Netherlands in 1990 and has played with Cor Baker, Laura Fygi, Jose Koning, Batida, Metropole Orchestra, Fernando Lameirinhas, Joia, Hein van de Geyn, Bacan, Ivan Lins, Dori Caymmi, Dulce Pontes, Estrella Acosta, Alain Caron, Hermeto Pascoal, Sticks & Strings, Jimmy Haslip, Michiel Borstlap, Paul van Vliet, Rosenberg Trio and Trijntje Oosterhuis.

In 1994 Leonardo received "The Best Guitarist Of The Year Award" in Uruguay.

In 2001 he played the Pompoen jazz club in Amsterdam and received rave reviews from Walter Becker (Steely Dan) who attended the concerts and has also written the liner notes on the CD which captures this special event.

In 2002 Leonardo released his much anticipated solo effort "Angel De La Guardia" which will be apreciated by guitar lovers and music lovers in general, because of the high standards in musicianship and sound recording quality.

Leonardo has recently left Holland to live in Brazil, where he is currently performing with Ivan Lins.
