ReplyDeleteReleased upon the completion of Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention's recording contract with Verve Records, Mothermania is an 11-song compilation selected by Zappa from the albums Freak Out!, Absolutely Free, and We're Only In It For The Money. Since each of those albums is superlative, the set is redundant. It has been out of print since the late 1960s and is unlikely ever to be reissued.
